holistic development. As per the
teachers, some of the merits and demerits of sending a kid to a boarding
school-
Merits:
- Confidence- As kids begin to do things on their own, they begin to grow self-confident. At boarding schools, children become exposed to drama, social service, art, carpentry, and a lot of other activities. When children will be able to find out what they are good at, they would develop a lot of confidence.
- Self-reliance and independence- Children have to do their chores on their own and they learn it slowly and gradually by seeing their peers. They organize their own tasks and solve their own problems. Such activity at boarding school makes kids independent.
